Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the material is original research, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150-250 words. Abstract must be unstructured and presented as a single continuous paragraph without headings or subheadings.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words excluding the abstract and references, and the introduction must be 1,500 words. Manuscript must include a Methods section with sufficient detail for experimental procedures to be reproduced. Manuscript must include a Conflict of Interest section before the references with an explicit statement for all authors.
References References may not exceed 100. References must follow Vancouver format. References must be cited in the text as numbers in citation order, listed numerically, and list all authors up to six or the first six followed by et al. for more than six.
Figures & Tables Articles may include a maximum of 6 tables and figures combined. Figures must not be embedded within the text, while tables may be embedded in the manuscript or supplied as separate files. Tables and figures must be numbered sequentially and cited in the text, with figure legends provided on a separate page after the references.
