Original Papers

Cover Letter A cover letter is required in the form of a letter of copyright transfer signed by all authors. The cover letter must be a copyright transfer letter signed by all authors.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must include the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The main text should be divided under headings and for many papers follow the sequence Introduction, Methods (Materials or Patients), Results, and Discussion. The manuscript must include keywords with a maximum of 6, a competing interests statement, and any generative AI declaration in a new section before the references list.
References References must use numbered citations in square brackets and be listed in numerical order, consistent with Vancouver style. References must be numbered in order of appearance, journal names abbreviated according to Index Medicus, and list up to 6 authors or editors before adding et al.
Figures & Tables Tables, figures, captions, and the list of references should appear properly in the text, while each illustration must also be submitted as a separate file with captions provided separately. Each table must have a short descriptive heading, figures must be numbered according to their sequence in the text, and all symbols and abbreviations in figures must be explained in the caption.

Manuscript Review Articles should be systematic, critical assessments of the literature and data sources on clinical topics that emphasize cause, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, or prevention and must describe the selection process in the article. The manuscript must include keywords and provide information for all reviewed articles and data sources on the specific type of study or analysis, population, intervention, exposure, and tests or outcomes, and any generative AI use declaration must appear in a section before the references.
References References must be cited by number in the text and listed in numerical order, consistent with a Vancouver-style system. List up to 6 authors or editors for each reference and, if there are more than 6, give the first 6 followed by et al., with journal names abbreviated according to Index Medicus.
Figures & Tables Each illustration must be submitted as a separate file with captions provided separately, and tables must be submitted as editable text rather than images. Figures must be numbered in the order cited and include captions explaining symbols and abbreviations, and tables must be numbered consecutively with notes placed below the table body.
