Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required and must be included in the main manuscript file. Abstract must be fewer than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Text is recommended to be 3,500 words or fewer, excluding the title page, legends, and references. Main manuscript should be organized as Title Page, Structured Abstract, Text, Acknowledgments, References, and figure legends, tables, and figures if not embedded in the text. Any use of generative AI-produced or AI-edited content must be disclosed in the acknowledgments and/or methods section with the name, version, model, source, and date of use.
References References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered in order of citation and cited in the text or tables as superscript numbers, with journal references listing up to three authors before using et al. for works with more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the main manuscript file, and figure legends, tables, and figures may be included in the manuscript if they are not embedded in the text. Tables and figures must be cited in numerical order in the text.
