Original Research

Cover Letter A signed cover letter from the corresponding author is required, confirming originality, non-duplicate submission, and disclosing all conflicts of interest or stating that none exist.
Abstract A structured abstract is required (max 300 words) with the headings: Background, Aim of the study, Material and Methods, Results, and Conclusions, and must not contain references.
Manuscript Overall manuscript order should be: title page, abstract, main text, tables, acknowledgments, competing interests, funding and other statements, references, image legends, and appendices as supplementary files. Limit the manuscript to ideally no more than 4,000 words, including tables and figures.
References References are cited in numerical order using superscript numbers after the relevant sentence or phrase, and cited consistently in the order they appear in the text; no maximum reference count is indicated.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate TIF or JPG files at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, cited in numerical order in the text, and accompanied by legends provided at the end of the manuscript; no maximum number of figures or tables is indicated.

Original Research / Study Design

Review Article

Cover Letter Include a cover letter signed by the corresponding author stating that the work is original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere, and disclosing all relevant relationships and conflicts of interest or explicitly stating that none exist.
Abstract Provide a non-structured abstract not exceeding 200 words, without references.
Manuscript Limit the main text to a maximum of 6,000 words (excluding references, tables, and figures) and structure the manuscript as: title page, abstract, main text with headings/subheadings, tables, acknowledgments, competing interests, funding and other required statements, references, image legends, and appendices as supplementary files.

Case Report

Cover Letter A cover letter signed by the corresponding author is required, confirming originality, non-duplicate submission, and including all disclosures and statements on presence or absence of conflicts of interest.
Abstract A structured abstract (max 200 words) is required with the headings: Introduction, Case presentation, and Conclusions, and must not contain references.
Manuscript Authorship on a case report is limited to a maximum of four authors. Limit the manuscript to a maximum of 2,000 words, excluding references, figures, and figure legends.
References Cite references in numerical order using superscript numbers as they appear in the text; limit: 20 references for a case report.
Figures & Tables Insert tables in Word format at first citation in the main text and also type them on separate pages at the end, numbered with Arabic numerals in order of mention. Limit the number of figures in a case report to a maximum of five.
