Systematic Review

Cover Letter A covering letter is required. The covering letter must state that the work has not been published or submitted elsewhere except as a brief meeting abstract, confirm that all authors contributed significantly and approve the manuscript content, and include any copyright permission letters for reproduced tables or figures.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 250 words or fewer. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript length must not exceed 6000 words including references, endnotes, tables, and appendices. Text must use the subheadings Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Five MeSH key words in alphabetical order must appear below the abstract, and any substantial use of AI to edit, develop, or translate the manuscript must be transparently described in the manuscript.
References References must follow Vancouver style. In-text citations must use Arabic numerals in parentheses in order of appearance, and the reference list must list all authors when there are six or fewer or the first three followed by et al. when there are seven or more.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed on separate pages and figures must not be embedded in the manuscript but supplied as separate files. Tables must be numbered consecutively with concise legends above, and figure legends must be provided on a separate page with definitions of symbols, abbreviations, and units.
