Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must include title and authorship information, a succinct introduction without subheadings, methods with subsections if more than one method is described, conclusions, acknowledgments before the references, and a supplementary material section before the references list. Research Articles must include a Data Availability Statement and authors must disclose any substantial use of AI technologies in developing, editing, or translating the manuscript.
References References may be in any style but must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, cited in the text using square brackets, and include a reference-list citation for linked datasets in the specified data citation format.
Figures & Tables All figures and tables must be included in the manuscript file at submission. Figures and tables must be cited consecutively in the manuscript, each table must have a descriptive title, and units for numerical measurements in tables must be included in the column headings.
