Review Articles

Cover Letter Submission must be accompanied by two cover letters, including one signed and dated conflict of interest statement from all authors. One cover letter must state that all authors approved the manuscript and believe it represents honest work, and the separate conflict of interest letter must disclose conflicts, funding or grants, and any funder involvement in data collection, analysis, or manuscript preparation.
Abstract Review Articles must include an abstract. Abstract must not exceed 400 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include Hypothesis and/or Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion and/or Conclusion.
Manuscript Review Articles must not exceed 4,750 words including the abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, and conclusion. Manuscript should include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. A Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process must be included at the end of the manuscript before the references if such tools were used.
References References must conform to Vancouver style. References must be arranged alphabetically by author, numbered sequentially, cited as superscript numerals without brackets, list all authors if there are 6 or fewer or the first 6 followed by et al. if there are 7 or more, and include DOI or ISBN for references from 2002 onward.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must be uploaded separately and individually rather than embedded only in the manuscript text. Figure and table legends must appear on a dedicated page following the references, figures must be numbered in text order, and tables must be numbered in Roman numerals.
