The Journal of Pediatric Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine is a double-blind, peer-reviewed periodical that has published national and international articles since 2014. It is identified as the first Turkish journal in the field of critical pediatric patients and is a publication of the Society of Pediatric Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. Original Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required, briefly explaining the research, specifying the study type and submission category, indicating any prior presentation at a scientific meeting, and providing full contact details for the corresponding author.
Abstract Separate Turkish and English abstracts are required, each structured with hypothesis/aim, methods, results, and conclusions, and each must not exceed 250 words, with 3–10 MeSH-based keywords listed below.
Manuscript Manuscripts must follow the structure: Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Limitations of the study, and Conclusions, with a maximum length of 5000 words (approximately 20 double-spaced pages).
References References must be typed double-spaced on a separate page, numbered in order of appearance (not alphabetically), list only the first five authors followed by “et al.” or “ve ark.”, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations; no maximum reference count is indicated.
Figures & Tables Up to 7 tables and/or figures are allowed, with each table on a separate double-spaced page after the references, all tables and figures cited and numbered in order, and figures submitted as EPS or TIF files at ≥300 dpi (color/grayscale) or 1200 dpi (line drawings).

Case Report
