It is a peer-reviewed bimonthly journal that publishes empirical, theoretical, and review articles focused on the governance, management, marketing, and consumption of sport organizations, including topics such as organizational theory, sport operations, marketing, sponsorship, media, sport tourism, facility and event management, and gender and diversity.

Empirical Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required if artificial intelligence-assisted technologies were used in the work. The cover letter must indicate how artificial intelligence-assisted technologies were used in the work.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be no more than 150 words.
Manuscript The manuscript should be no longer than 40 double-spaced pages inclusive of references, tables, figures, and appendices. The manuscript must include three to six keywords not used in the title and must indicate within the work how any artificial intelligence-assisted technologies were used.
References References must follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition. Reference citations in the text must be accurate in publication dates and author-name spelling and must cross-check with the reference list.
Figures & Tables All tables must be grouped together on pages separate from the body of the text, and figure captions must also be grouped together on pages separate from the body of the text. A separate document must provide alternative text of 250 characters or fewer for every figure.
