Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must be unstructured and up to 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript should be 3000–6000 words excluding the abstract, tables, figure legends, and references. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a data availability statement, a disclosure statement, a 'Declarations' or 'Statements and Declarations' section, and documentation of any LLM use in the Methods section or another suitable section.
References Citations must be numbered in square brackets. Reference list entries must be numbered consecutively, include only cited published or accepted works, and include full DOI links where available.
Figures & Tables Research articles must contain no more than 8 display items in total, including figures and tables. Figures should be submitted within the manuscript text, but large figures may be submitted separately if file size causes uploading problems. Figures and tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions, with figure captions included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files.
