Phytotherapy Research is an international pharmacological journal publishing original medicinal plant research for biochemists, pharmacologists, and toxicologists. Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be no more than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings background and aim, experimental procedure, and key results and conclusions and implications.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 10 printed pages, with one page defined as 800 words or the equivalent in illustrative and tabular material. Manuscript must be ordered as title page, abstract, key words, main text, references, figure legends, tables, acknowledgments, author contribution, and conflict of interest, and the main text must include introduction, material and methods, results, and discussion. Manuscript must include up to six keywords and a graphical abstract.
References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed on separate pages after the reference list and not embedded in the main text, while figures may be included in the main manuscript or uploaded separately. Figures and tables must have legends.
