Research Article

Cover Letter No specific cover letter requirements are specified, including whether a cover letter is required.
Abstract A structured abstract (max 250 words) is required with the headings Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusion, and must not contain references.
Manuscript Include no more than 6 illustrations or tables in total. Limit the manuscript to 3000 words, excluding the abstract and bibliography.
References Limit the reference list to the most recent and relevant sources, with a maximum of about 30 references advised; unpublished observations and personal communications must not appear in the reference list.
Figures & Tables Tables must be simple, fully editable, cell-based tables embedded in the manuscript file, numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals, and limited together with figures to a total of no more than 6 items.

Review Article

Cover Letter Narrative review articles and preferably all review articles should be discussed with the Editor before submission, which may be addressed in a cover letter.
Abstract An unstructured abstract of about 100–150 words is required explaining the review and why it is important.
Manuscript An anonymized version of the manuscript for anonymous review may be submitted, with all identifying details and self-citations removed or masked. The guideline word limit is 4000 words.
References Reference formatting must include all authors up to six (then first three plus 'et al.'), full page ranges, volume and issue numbers, approved journal abbreviations, and DOIs where available; no maximum reference count is indicated.
Figures & Tables Tables must be simple, cell-based and fully editable, numbered in Arabic numerals in citation order, titled with column headings and units, and embedded within the manuscript Word file rather than uploaded separately.

Scientific Letter/Short Report

Abstract A structured abstract (max 250 words) is required using the headings: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 1500 words and should follow a standard structure with a separate structured abstract plus main text sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion).
References Use Vancouver style with numbered superscript in-text citations in square brackets and a numerically ordered reference list; include full author details (first three then et al. if >6) and DOIs where possible. Limit: 15 references.
Figures & Tables Only one illustration or table is allowed; figures must be high-resolution PDFs uploaded individually as supplementary files, while tables must be embedded as editable, cell-based tables within the manuscript file.
