Supportive Care in Cancer presents scientific and clinical practice information on all aspects of supportive care in cancer patients. It covers the physical, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of the patient journey from diagnosis through end-of-life care, with a focus on interventions to mitigate symptoms and side effects. The journal is published in partnership with the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be divided into Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Research articles are limited to 3500 words of body text. Manuscript must include a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' or 'Declarations' and a data availability statement. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a relevance statement, documentation of any Large Language Model use in the Methods or suitable alternative section, and a disclosure statement.
References Research articles may include up to 45 references. Citations must use numbered references in square brackets. Reference list must include only cited published or accepted works, be numbered consecutively, and include full DOI links when available.
Figures & Tables Research articles may include no more than six figures and tables in total. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Figures and tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by concise captions.
