Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must include statements about redundant publication, financial or other conflicts of interest, all authors' approval, and the corresponding author's contact information.
Abstract An abstract is required. Structured abstracts must be 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must include Background, Objectives, Setting, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must be 3000 words or less. The manuscript must include Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and References sections. Highlights are required, the submission must include keywords, and the manuscript must contain any required AI-related disclosure statements.
References References must be limited to those cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of first mention, cited with superscript Arabic numbers, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, and list the first 3 authors followed by et al. when there are more than 6.
Figures & Tables Tables must not be embedded with the text, and illustrations must be supplied as separate files. Tables and figures must be cited in order of first appearance, tables and figures must not duplicate the text or each other, each table must have a precise heading, and concise legends must accompany each illustration or video presentation.
