Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract may be up to 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must identify the study as randomized in the title and report the trial design, participant eligibility criteria and setting, interventions for each group, specific objective or hypothesis, clearly defined primary outcome, allocation method, blinding status, numbers randomized and analysed in each group, primary outcome results with effect size and precision, important adverse events or side effects, general interpretation, registration number and trial register name, and source of funding.
Manuscript Main text should have separate Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections, and the primary end point and power calculation must be stated clearly. Manuscript must include a Data Availability Statement and disclose any use of AI in the Methods or Acknowledgements section.
References References must be numbered consecutively in the text using superscript numerals, with references cited only in tables or figures numbered in sequence.
Figures & Tables Each figure must be submitted as a separate file, figure legends must be included at the end of the main manuscript file, and each table must be typed on a separate page. Prospective clinical trials must include a suitable CONSORT flow chart in the submission.
