Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract may be unstructured.
Manuscript Text is preferred at 3,000 words and must not exceed 5,000 words. Main body text must include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Authors who use AI tools must disclose in the Materials and Methods or similar section how the tool was used and which tool was used.
References References must not exceed 50. References must use AMA style. References must be cited with superscript numbers and listed in citation order, listing up to 6 authors or the first 3 followed by et al for 7 or more authors.
Figures & Tables Tables must follow the References section or be provided in a separate Word file, and figures must be uploaded separately rather than embedded in the main body file. Each table must be in editable text format rather than an image, and figure legends must be provided at the end of the main text file or in a separate Word file.
