Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must include a Conclusions section with expert recommendations to address the issues. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 keywords and a declaration of generative AI use in a separate section before the references when AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of appearance and may use any consistent submission style as long as they include author names, source title information, year, and volume or pagination where applicable.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files, tables must be submitted as editable text, and the graphical abstract must be submitted as a separate file. All figures and tables must be cited in the text and include captions, and a graphical abstract is required at submission.
