Research Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Research Articles require a short abstract. Abstract must not exceed 200 words.
Manuscript Research Articles are typically around 3000–8000 words in their entirety. Manuscript should include an introduction, main text, conclusion, and an experimental or methods section if applicable, with a "Statistical Analysis" subsection at the end of the Experimental Section. Manuscript must include 3 to 7 keywords, a 50 to 60 word Table of Contents text with a graphic, and transparent disclosure of any generative AI tool use in the Methods, a disclosure, or the Acknowledgements.
References References must use numbered citations in square brackets in the text. References must be numbered in order of citation, listed at the end of the main text, use one citation per reference number, include full article and journal titles, and list the first three authors followed by "et al." when there are more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Research Articles typically include 3–8 display items. Figures and schemes must be inserted in-line within the main text, while tables should be included in the manuscript document. Each figure, scheme, and table must be numbered in order and accompanied by a caption or brief legend, and figure legends must include reporting details such as sample size, replicates, error bars, statistical tests, significance symbols, and scale or magnification where applicable.
