Biomedical Signal Processing and Control is the official journal of the European Alliance of Medical and Biological Engineering and Science (EAMBES) and publishes original research on the theory, methodology, and application of signal and data processing techniques for understanding, modelling, and improving human health. It focuses on biomedical signals, medical images, multimodal data, machine learning, physiological modelling, wearable and remote monitoring systems, and closed-loop biomedical systems, with emphasis on clinically validated and translationally relevant work.

Abstract Abstract must be fewer than 250 words.
Manuscript Reviews must be 10,000 words. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with subsections numbered hierarchically. Submission must include 1 to 7 English keywords and article highlights consisting of 3 to 5 bullet points submitted as a separate editable file, and any use of AI or AI-assisted tools as part of the research design or methods must be described reproducibly in the methods section.
References References must use a numbered citation style with numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of first appearance, be consistent in style, include core bibliographic details, and use LTWA abbreviations for journal names.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article, while figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript.
