Abstract Original Research must include a structured abstract. The abstract must be 250 to 500 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Background, Objective(s), Study Design, Results, and Conclusion(s).
Manuscript Original Research manuscripts are limited to 3000 words of main text. The main text must use the headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Structured Discussion/Comment, and the Structured Discussion/Comment section must include Principal Findings, Results, Clinical Implications, Research Implications, Strengths and Limitations, and Conclusions. The first page must include a tweetable statement of no more than 210 characters, a short title of approximately 64-96 characters, and AJOG at a Glance of no more than 130 words in 1-3 bullet points answering why the study was conducted, the key findings, and what the study adds to what is already known, and the manuscript must also include a Condensation, Keywords, and a generative AI declaration section before the references when applicable.
References Every reference cited in the article must appear in the reference list and vice versa, references cited in the abstract must be given in full, web references must include the full URL and access date, and preprint references must be clearly identified and include the preprint DOI.
