IBRO Neuroscience Reports is an open access journal under the editorial direction of IBRO that publishes original research on any aspect of the scientific study of the nervous system. It welcomes preliminary, descriptive, small-scale, negative, replication, and re-analysis studies when they are scientifically and methodologically sound and valuable to the advancement of neuroscience research. It is an official journal of the International Brain Research Organization and the sister journal of Neuroscience.

Abstract A concise and factual abstract is required.
Manuscript Research Papers have no specific page limits and should be as concise as possible. Articles must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include keywords, a separate declaration of interest statement before the references, and a declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process before the references when applicable.
References Citations in the text must use author-name-and-year style. References must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary, with same-year works by the same author distinguished by letters.
Figures & Tables Research Papers should use as few high-quality illustrations as necessary to document the findings. Tables may be placed next to the relevant text in the article or on separate pages at the end, and source files for figures are required whether or not they are embedded in the text. Figures must be submitted as separate files with captions, and tables must be submitted as editable text rather than as images.
