Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia is the official scientific publication of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology. It has been published since 1925 and is a bimonthly open access peer-reviewed journal devoted to original and unpublished studies, reviews, and communications in dermatology and related fields, with emphasis on Tropical Dermatology, Parasitic and Infectious Dermatology, STDs/AIDS, and Dermopathology.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Structured. Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Study limitations, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Article manuscripts must not exceed 6,000 words. Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. The manuscript must include a title, keywords, and a separate AI declaration statement before the references if generative AI was used.
References No more than 40 references. Vancouver. References must be numbered in order of appearance and cited in the text by superscript numbers.
Figures & Tables No more than 10 illustrations. Figures and tables must be uploaded separately and not embedded as final images. Tables must be editable text, figures must be cited in sequence, and all images must have captions and be provided as separate files.
