Structured Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief must be submitted as a single file.
Abstract Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words, excluding words in tables, figures, and appendices. The manuscript must include a Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process section before the references when generative AI tools were used for manuscript preparation.
References References must follow AMA style. References must include the access date for online sources and a DOI when available.
Figures & Tables Structured Reviews must not include more than 5 tables and/or figures. Tables and figures must be submitted as separate files from the main manuscript file.

Narrative Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief must be submitted as a single file.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Narrative Reviews. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Objectives, Findings, and Summary.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words excluding words in tables, figures, and appendices. Manuscript headings should mirror the abstract headings, with the addition of Introduction and Discussion sections, except Objective. The manuscript must include a Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process section before the references when such tools were used, and a competing interests statement must be provided.
References References must follow AMA style. References must include the DOI when available and online sources must include the date accessed.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures must be submitted as separate files, and figure captions must be provided in an editable format. Tables and figures must be numbered in the order cited in the text, tables must have clear descriptive titles, and figures must include relevant captions.

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words, excluding words in tables, figures, and appendices. Manuscript headings should mirror the abstract headings, with the addition of Introduction and Discussion sections, and articles must be divided into clearly defined numbered sections. A declaration section titled "Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process" must be included before the references if generative AI or AI-assisted tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References References are limited to 50. References must follow AMA style. References must include an accessed date for online sources and a DOI for articles that have one.

Manuscript Body of the manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words, excluding words in tables, figures, and appendices. An AI declaration section titled "Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process" must be included before the references when generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used in manuscript preparation.
References References must follow AMA style. References for online sources must include the date accessed, and articles with a DOI must include the DOI in lowercase without a space after the colon or a period at the end.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures must be submitted as separate files, with tables in a single file and figures in a single file. Tables and figures must be numbered in the order cited in the text, and tables must include a descriptive title while figures must include relevant captions.
