Original Article

Cover Letter Cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the manuscript has not been published previously, will not be submitted elsewhere, and disclose any conflicts of interest of all listed authors.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,500 words, excluding abstract, tables, figures, acknowledgments, and references. Manuscript must be organized as Title page, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgment, References, Tables, and Figure Legends. Manuscript must include up to 10 keywords at the end of the abstract, and Original Article submissions should include a certificate of English review containing the reviewer's name, institution, position, statement of approval, and signature.
References References must not exceed 40. References must be in English, numbered consecutively in order of first citation, cited as bracketed numbers, use NLM Catalog journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, and list the first 6 authors followed by et al. when there are 7 or more.
Figures & Tables Original Article manuscripts must include no more than a total of 5 tables and/or figures. Figures must be submitted separately from the manuscript text. Tables and figure legends must be in English and numbered in Arabic numerals in the order of citation.

Review Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the manuscript has not been published previously, will not be submitted elsewhere, disclose any conflicts of interest, and confirm that all authors have read the manuscript and agree with the submission.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be unstructured as a single paragraph. Abstract must end with up to 10 keywords and include no footnotes, references, or tables.
Manuscript Manuscript must be arranged in the sequence Title page, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgment, References, Tables, and Figure Legends. The title page must include the title, authors’ full names and affiliations, correspondence details, acknowledgements or research support, a running title of fewer than 10 words, footnotes if any, and the main text word count, and the submitted paper must include a list of each author's role.
References References must be in English, numbered consecutively by first citation, cited in bracketed number format, use NLM journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer and the first 6 followed by et al. when there are 7 or more, and give authors as surname plus initials.
Figures & Tables Tables must each be placed on a separate page, while figures must be submitted separately from the manuscript text. Tables and figure legends must be in English, tables and figures must be numbered in Arabic numerals in order of citation, and each table and figure must have a brief title of 10 to 15 words.
