Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter or title page/first page file is required as a separate submission file. It must include manuscript-identifying information and a statement that all authors have read and approved the manuscript and that the work represents honest work.
Abstract An abstract is required.
Manuscript Original Articles must be up to 3000 words excluding abstract, references, and tables. Original Articles must be divided into Abstract, Key-words, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Tables, and Figure legends sections. The manuscript must include Key-words, a description of each author's contributions, designation of one or more guarantors, and disclosure of any generative AI or AI-assisted technologies used and how they were used.
References Original Articles should include about 30 references. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention and cited as superscript Arabic numerals in square brackets after punctuation marks.
Figures & Tables Tables must be provided at the end of the text after the references, figure legends must be included at the end of the article file, and images must be submitted as separate files rather than embedded in the blinded article file. Tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.

Review Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter or title page file is required, and a short summary of the contributor's work in the review field must accompany the submission. The cover letter or title page file must include manuscript identification details and a statement that all authors have read and approved the manuscript and that authorship requirements have been met.
Abstract An abstract is required for Review Articles. The abstract must be 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured. The abstract must summarize the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data.
Manuscript The manuscript must be up to 3000 words excluding tables, references, and abstract. The manuscript must include a section describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data. The manuscript must include three or more keywords and disclose any generative AI or AI-assisted technologies used and how they were used.
References Review Articles may have about 90 references. References must be numbered consecutively in the order first mentioned in the text and cited as Arabic numerals in superscript within square brackets after punctuation marks.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included at the end of the text after the references, and images must be submitted as separate files rather than incorporated into the blinded article file. Figure or image legends must be included at the end of the article file, and tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.

Case Reports

Abstract An abstract is required. The manuscript must use the heading Abstract.
Manuscript Case Reports must be up to 1000 words excluding abstract and references. Case Reports must use the headings Abstract, Key-words, Introduction, Case report, Discussion, Reference, Tables, and Legends in that order. The manuscript must include Key-words, and authors who used generative AI or AI-assisted technologies must disclose the tool and its use in the manuscript.
