Reviews On Environmental Health

Reviews on Environmental Health is an international peer-reviewed journal focused on review articles on current topics in environmental health. It serves scientists, environmentalists, physicians, engineers, and students concerned with how physical, chemical, biological, and social environmental factors affect human health and quality of life, and seeks to connect research on environmental causes of disease with clinical practice. The journal is published quarterly in print and online, publishes only English-language articles, and uses single-anonymized peer review by at least two experts.

Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required for first submission. Cover letter must briefly state the element of novelty and should include statements that the paper is not previously published or under consideration elsewhere and whether any conflicts of interest exist.
Abstract An abstract is required for Reviews. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Reviews may use either an unstructured abstract or a structured abstract. If the abstract is structured, it must use the headings Background, Content, Summary, and Outlook.
Manuscript Manuscript should be subdivided into sections and, for systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials, must follow PRISMA and include a PRISMA flow chart. Manuscript must include 3–6 keywords, and any use of Large Language Models, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning tools as part of a research study’s design or methodology must be specified in the Methods section.
References References must follow Vancouver style. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and all references in the reference list must be mentioned in the text.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded separately, while the manuscript must indicate the approximate placement of each table. Figures must be numbered consecutively and labeled as Figure with concise captions, and tables must be numbered consecutively and provided in an editable source format rather than as images.

Letter To The Editor

Cover Letter A cover letter must be submitted with the manuscript. The cover letter must briefly state the element of novelty, be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief, and include statements on prior publication status and any conflicts of interest.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Letter to the editor submissions can use the Letter to the editor & reply template. The manuscript must include 3–6 keywords, and authors of letters to the editor are asked to reveal all competing interests regarding the article commented on.
References References must follow Vancouver style. Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and every reference in the reference list must be cited in the text.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded separately, while the manuscript must indicate the approximate placement of each table. Figures must be numbered consecutively and labeled as Figure with concise captions, and tables must be numbered consecutively with a short descriptive title.
