Research Papers
Cover Letter
A cover letter must be included. The cover letter should indicate why the manuscript is suitable for publication.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be up to 250 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Articles should normally contain 2000-3000 words. Manuscripts should normally contain the following sections: structured abstract, introduction, materials/methods/procedures, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgements, declaration of conflicting interests, funding, references, tables, and figures. The manuscript must include 5-10 keywords and a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' containing each required subheading even when not applicable, with 'Not applicable' stated under headings that do not apply, and AI usage should be disclosed in the Acknowledgements or Methodology section when required by the journal's AI use policy.
References
References must follow the Sage Vancouver reference style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables
Figures, charts, and tables created in Word should be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word should be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text for separately submitted figures. Tables must be labeled as tables, include a number, title, and header row and/or column, be editable within Word rather than images, and figures must be numbered consecutively and include a number and title.
Review Articles

Manuscripts should normally contain sections for structured abstract, introduction, materials/methods/procedures, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgements, declaration of conflicting interests, funding, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include 5–10 keywords and a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end with each required subheading included even when not applicable, and AI usage should be disclosed in the Acknowledgements or Methodology section when required by the journal's AI use policy.
