Autonomic Neuroscience is an international journal covering all aspects of the autonomic nervous system in humans and animals. It is the official publication of The International Society for Autonomic Neuroscience and The Australasian Society for Autonomic Neuroscience, and considers work on blood vessels, viscera, autonomic ganglia, autonomic pathways, autonomic nuclei, and related structure, physiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, development, evolution, ageing, behaviour, and human pathology.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 keywords in English, article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points submitted as a separate editable file, and a generative AI disclosure section before the references when applicable.
References Citations must use the author-date style. References may be submitted in any consistent style at submission, but the reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary.
Figures & Tables Tables must be submitted as editable text and figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript.
