It is an open-access, peer-reviewed, rapid-publication, international journal that publishes basic, translational, and clinical research relevant to the pathophysiology and treatment of major psychiatric disorders, including original research, reviews, meta-analyses, commentaries, and pre-registered reports.

Cover Letter A cover letter is optional.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Structured. Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
Manuscript Main body text must not exceed 4000 words. Main text must be structured as Introduction, Methods and Materials, Results, Discussion.
References References have no limit. References must be numbered and listed in order of appearance in the text.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures have no limit. Tables must be supplied in an editable format, and each figure must be supplied as an individual file. Tables and figures must be cited in the text, tables numbered consecutively in order of mention, and figure and table legends must include a brief title and legend for each.

Figures & Tables Tables and figures must be cited in the text, with each figure supplied as an individual file and tables supplied in an editable format.
