Blood Reviews is an international hematology journal that publishes peer-reviewed review articles covering the spectrum of clinical and laboratory haematological practice and research. Most reviews are invited, but the editors welcome proposals from potential authors submitted as a brief outline with the author's publication record on the topic.

Invited Reviews

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript The article must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering and acknowledgements placed in a separate section immediately before the references. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords and, if generative AI was used in manuscript preparation, a declaration in a new section placed before the references list.
References Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa, references cited in the abstract must be given in full, web references must include the full URL and access date, and preprints must be clearly identified with the word "preprint" or the server name and DOI.
Figures & Tables Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables must be submitted as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, numbered in order of appearance, and provided with captions, with table notes placed below the table body.
