Pregnancy Hypertension: An International Journal of Women's Cardiovascular Health aims to stimulate research in hypertension in pregnancy, disseminate useful results, and advance education in the field. It publishes articles on human and animal blood pressure during gestation, hypertension during gestation including physiology of circulatory control, pathophysiology, methodology, therapy, and related material on elevated blood pressure and pregnancy, as well as wider topics in women's cardiovascular health such as in utero programming, nutrition, and long-term cardiovascular effects of hypertension in pregnancy. It is the official journal of the International Society for the Study of Hypertension in Pregnancy.

Full Length Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Full Length Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings objectives, study design, main outcome measures, results, and conclusions.
Manuscript Full Length Articles must be 2000-3000 words. Manuscript should be structured as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, and article highlights consisting of 3 to 5 bullet points are required as a separate editable file.
References Full Length Articles may include up to 45 references. References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and numbered in the order they appear in the article.
Figures & Tables Full Length Articles may include up to 6 tables and/or figures. Tables must be submitted as editable text and figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript. All tables and figures must be cited in the text, numbered in order of appearance, and provided with captions.
