Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must explain any issues relating to journal policies, declare any potential competing interests, confirm that all authors approved the manuscript for submission, and confirm that the content has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 350 words. Unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript should follow a standard research article structure with Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions sections, and it must include a Declarations section. Three to ten keywords must be included, abbreviations must be defined at first use, and use of a Large Language Model must be documented in the Methods section or a suitable alternative part of the manuscript.
References Vancouver. References must use Vancouver style, journal abbreviations must follow Index Medicus/MEDLINE, only published, in press, or publicly available preprint sources may be cited, and web links or URLs must be numbered and listed in full in the reference list.
Figures & Tables Figures are uploaded separately in the required file formats, while tables may be placed within the manuscript or uploaded as additional files when appropriate. Figures and tables must be numbered in order of first mention, figure titles and legends belong in the main manuscript, table legends belong underneath the table, and figures and tables must follow the journal's formatting constraints for legibility and presentation.

References References must follow Vancouver reference style. Web links and URLs must be given a reference number and included in the reference list, unpublished abstracts, unpublished data, and personal communications must not be listed, and journal abbreviations must follow Index Medicus/MEDLINE.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be embedded or uploaded separately as appropriate, and tables less than one page may be placed within the manuscript. Figures and tables must be numbered and ordered by first mention, figure titles and legends must be in the manuscript, table legends must appear underneath the table, and tables must not use color or shading.

Three to ten keywords must be provided, the systematic review registration number should appear as the last line of the abstract if registered, and the manuscript should document use of a Large Language Model if applicable.
References Vancouver. References must be numbered and listed in Vancouver style, with journal abbreviations following Index Medicus/MEDLINE and web links or URLs included in the reference list with full site title, URL, and access date.
Figures & Tables Tables may be placed in the appropriate location within the manuscript if they are less than one A4 or Letter page in length, otherwise tables placed at the end must be cited in the text and figures are uploaded separately in order of first mention. Figure titles and legends must be provided in the main manuscript, figure titles must not exceed 15 words, figure legends must not exceed 300 words, and tables must use the table object function with legends underneath them.
