Original Research

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Research articles. Abstract must be no more than 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must be up to 5000 words, excluding the title page, abstract, tables, acknowledgements, contributions, and references. Manuscript should follow the structure abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, references, and tables and figures as appropriate. Manuscript must include the research type in the title, a Patient and Public Involvement statement in the Methods section, and key messages after the abstract under the headings 'What is already known on this topic', 'What this study adds', and 'How this study might affect research, practice or policy' in no more than 3-5 sentences.
References Reference list may include up to 100 references. References must use Vancouver style. References must be numbered sequentially in the text and reference list, with the first three authors listed by last name and initials followed by 'et al' if applicable.
Figures & Tables Original Research articles may include up to 5 tables/illustrations. Figures must be submitted separately, while tables should be placed in the main text where first cited. Tables should be in Word format and figure legends should be provided at the end of the manuscript.

Abstract Analysis articles must include an unstructured abstract. Abstract must be up to 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be up to 3000 words, excluding the title page, abstract, tables, acknowledgements, contributions, and references. Manuscript must include an introduction and a conclusion, with the main body divided into thematic headings rather than traditional research paper headings such as methods, results/findings, and discussion. Manuscript must include a summary box with four to five single-sentence bullet points of key messages.
References References may include up to 50 entries. References must use Vancouver style. References must be cited in numerical order and list the first three authors by last name and initials followed by 'et al' if applicable.
Figures & Tables Articles may include up to 5 tables or illustrations. Figures must be submitted separately, while tables should be placed in the main text where first cited. Analysis article headings must not use abbreviations.
