Health & Place is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study of the role of place in understanding health and health care. It publishes original research articles, short communications, opinion papers, and reviews addressing health geography, medical sociology, health policy, public health, epidemiology, and related fields, with emphasis on how social, cultural, and political contexts shape health, healthcare, and health inequities across places.

Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Original Research Articles should normally be 4000–6000 words long, excluding figures, tables, and references. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined sections using headings. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, 3 to 5 submission highlights as a separate editable file, a declaration of competing interests, and a generative AI disclosure section placed before the references list.
References References may be in any style or format at submission as long as the style is consistent. References must be consistent and include applicable bibliographic details, and any reference cited in the article must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article, while figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript. Tables must be editable text with captions, and all figures and tables must be cited and numbered consecutively in the manuscript.
