Current Opinion in Anaesthesiology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The structured abstract must be no longer than 200 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Purpose of review, Recent findings, and Summary.
Manuscript Review manuscripts must be approximately 2500 words in length, excluding references. Review manuscripts must include an introduction, headings and titled paragraphs subdividing the text, and a short conclusion paragraph. Review manuscripts must include 3-5 keywords, 3-5 one-sentence key bullet points after the main text, and an acknowledgements section with separate paragraphs for Acknowledgements, Financial support and sponsorship, and Conflicts of interest.
References At least 80% of the references must be from the review period published in the past 12-18 months. References must be in Vancouver style. References must be numbered in sequence and include the first three authors, or all authors if there are four or fewer.
Figures & Tables Reviews may include up to four additional elements in total as a combination of figures and tables. Figures and tables must not be embedded within the text and must be submitted as separate files. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, and figure titles and legends must be included in the main body of the text following the references.
