Current Opinion in Clinical Nutrition & Metabolic Care is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Review articles. Abstract must be no longer than 200 words. Abstract must be structured using the headings Purpose of review, Recent findings, and Summary. Abstract must use the subheadings Purpose of review, Recent findings, and Summary.
Manuscript Review articles must be approximately 2,500-3,000 words in length, excluding references. Manuscript must include an introduction outlining the scope of the review, subdivided text with headings and titled paragraphs, and a short conclusion paragraph. Manuscript must include 3-5 keywords, 3-5 key bullet points after the main text, and separate acknowledgements paragraphs for Acknowledgements, Financial support and sponsorship, and Conflicts of interest.
References References must be in numerical sequence using Vancouver style. References must list the first three authors or all authors if there are four or fewer, use square-bracketed in-text citations, and include bulleted annotations for qualifying recent references.
Figures & Tables Reviews are encouraged to include up to four figures and/or tables. Figures and tables must not be embedded within the text and must be submitted as separate files. Figure titles and legends must be provided for all figures and tables must have an appropriate title.
