Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Research Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings aims, materials and methods, results, and conclusions.
Manuscript Main text should be 3,500 words excluding references, tables, figures, and legends. Manuscript must be organized as introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgements, references, legends to figures, tables, and figures. Title page must include author names, full affiliations, a short running title, and the word counts for the abstract and main text plus the numbers of references, tables, and figures.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text using Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 5 figures and/or tables is permitted. Figures must be supplied as separate files.

Abstract Abstract must be up to 250 words. Abstract does not need to be structured.
Manuscript Review articles have no set word limit. Manuscript text should be presented in the order Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, and References. Authors are encouraged to provide up to six keywords in a Keywords section.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text using Arabic superscript numerals, with journal title abbreviations conforming to Chemical Abstracts practice.
Figures & Tables Figures must be supplied as separate files from the main manuscript. Figures should be numbered in the order cited in the text, and tables should be supplied as editable files rather than pasted as images.
