Manuscript The manuscript must include a Research in Context panel with the sections “Evidence before this study”, “Added value of this study”, and “Implications of all the available evidence”. The Research in Context panel must contain no references, use clear simple language without jargon or abbreviations, and the “Evidence before this study” section must report the sources searched, inclusion and exclusion criteria with exact search dates, search terms, evidence quality or risk of bias, and pooled meta-analysis estimate if appropriate, while any use of generative AI in review development or writing must be disclosed in the Methods and Acknowledgment sections with the tool, version, prompts, and how it was used.
References References must be cited in Vancouver numbering style as superscript numbers after punctuation. References must be cited sequentially in the text, references in tables, figures, and panels must follow numerical order based on first citation in the text, online references must include URL and access date, in-press articles may be listed as “in press,” and personal communications and unpublished work must be cited only in the text.
