It publishes emergency medicine content including original articles, case reports, reviews, editorials, brief reports, and letters to the editor. Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be 250–300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Main text must not exceed 4,000 words. Main text must be structured with the headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Study Limitations, and Conclusion. The manuscript must include 3 to 6 keywords.
References References must not exceed 35. References must be cited in the text using Arabic numbers in parentheses, listed in citation order, use Index Medicus/Medline/PubMed journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are six or fewer, and list the first six authors followed by et al when there are seven or more.
Figures & Tables Tables must not exceed 4 and figures must not exceed 4. Tables must be included in the main document after the reference list, and figures must be uploaded separately rather than embedded in the main document. Figure legends must appear at the end of the main document.
