Reviews
Cover Letter
Cover letter must be submitted concurrently with the manuscript during online submission. Cover letter must state if the study was previously presented as a congress abstract.
Abstract
Abstract is required for Reviews and must be unstructured. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript
Review must include Title, unstructured abstract, keywords, introduction, main text with subtitles, conclusion, acknowledgement-funding, conflict of interest, and references. Manuscript must include 2 to 5 MeSH-compliant keywords and, if AI or AI-assisted tools were used, a section titled Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies stating how and which tool was used.
References
References must be numbered consecutively in order of citation, cited in superior brackets at the end of sentences, list all authors, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations.
Figures & Tables
Figures, images, graphics, and tables must be uploaded as separate files to the online manuscript system. Images, tables, graphics, and figures must be numbered consecutively and each must be cited in the text.
Research Articles
Cover Letter
A cover letter must be submitted concurrently with the manuscript during online submission.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required for Research Articles. The structured abstract must be 250–300 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript
The main text must include Introduction, Materials and Methods or Patients and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement-Funding, Conflict of interest, and References. The manuscript must include keywords and a Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies when AI or AI-assisted tools were used.
References
References must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, identified in superior brackets at the end of sentences, list all authors, and use journal abbreviations from Index Medicus.
Figures & Tables
Images, tables, graphics, and figures must be uploaded as separate files to the online manuscript system. Images, tables, graphics, and figures must be numbered consecutively and each must be cited in the text.

Short Communications must not exceed 1500 words. Short Communications must include a title, an unstructured abstract, 2-5 keywords, and an Acknowledgement-Funding-Conflict of interest section before the references. The manuscript must include 2-5 keywords and, if AI or AI-assisted tools were used, a Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies stating how and which tool was used.
References
Short Communications must not exceed 10 references. References must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, identified in superior brackets at the end of sentences, list all authors, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations.
Figures & Tables
Short Communications may include a maximum of one figure and two tables. Figures and tables must be uploaded as separate files to the online manuscript system.
Letter To The Editor
Cover Letter
Cover letter must be submitted concurrently with the manuscript during online submission. Cover letter must state if the study was previously presented as a congress abstract.
Abstract
Abstract is not required for Letter To The Editor submissions.
Manuscript
Letter To The Editor submissions must not exceed 1000 words. Letter To The Editor submissions must address issues or exchange views on topics arising from published articles or uncommitted subjects without original research interest. Manuscripts must include 2 to 5 MeSH-compliant keywords and, if AI or AI-assisted tools were used, a Declaration Regarding the Use of AI and AI-Assisted Technologies.
References
