Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured into Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Abstract headings must be Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3000 words, including the introduction, material and methods, results, and discussion. Manuscript must include 2 key points, 1 Clinical Relevance Statement, 3 to 5 keywords, a list of non-commonly used abbreviations after the key points, and a graphical abstract.
References References must be cited in Arabic numerals in square brackets and listed in order of appearance, with all authors named if there are 6 or fewer or the first 3 followed by 'et al.' if there are 7 or more.
Figures & Tables Original Articles may include no more than 6 figures and no more than 5 tables. Figures and tables must be provided as separate files and not embedded in the main text file. Original Articles must include a self-explanatory single-panel graphical abstract summarizing the main finding or take-home message, prepared with the graphical abstract template and uploaded as an editable PowerPoint file.
