Clinical and Translational Medicine is an open access journal focused on accelerating the translation of preclinical research to clinical application and communication between basic and clinical scientists. It emphasizes a bench-to-bedside approach and welcomes submissions from clinicians, researchers, policy makers, and industry across areas of clinical and translational medicine, with themed topics including clinical bioinformatics, clinical trans-omics, single-cell biomedicine, stem cell biology and therapy, clinical genomics, vaccines and immunotherapy, and chronic metabolic diseases.

Original Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript should be published, address any journal policy issues, declare any potential competing interests, confirm all authors approved the submission, confirm the content has not been published or submitted elsewhere, and name the special issue if applicable.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 350 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must include Background, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions sections. Manuscript must include 3 to 10 keywords, a Declarations section with the subheadings Ethics approval and consent to participate, Consent for publication, Data availability statement, Conflict of interest, and Funding, and abbreviations must be defined at first use with a list provided as needed.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text using consecutive Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files, while tables must appear in the main text file. Tables and figure legends must be concise, self-contained, and define all abbreviations, symbols, and units needed for understanding.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 350 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include background, main body of the abstract, and short conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 6000 words excluding references, figures, and tables. Manuscript must include Background, Main text, and Conclusions sections. Manuscript must include 3 to 10 keywords and, if abbreviations are used, they must be defined at first use and a list of abbreviations must be provided.
References References must not exceed 100 cited publications. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text using consecutive Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables Manuscript must not exceed 10 figures. Main text and figures must be submitted as separate files, and appendices must also be supplied as separate files if relevant. Tables must be editable and self-contained with concise legends and defined abbreviations, and figure legends must be concise and define all symbols, abbreviations, and units.
