Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The main text should include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Keywords should be drawn from MeSH terminology and AI use in writing, visual elements, or data collection and analysis must be transparently disclosed in the Materials and Methods section or an equivalent section.
References Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in the order first cited, cited with Arabic numerals in parentheses, listed in English, use MEDLINE or KoreaMed journal abbreviations, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer, and list the first 6 authors followed by et al. when there are 7 or more.
Figures & Tables Each illustration must be uploaded as a separate file, and each table should be given on a separate page. Tables and figures must be numbered in the order cited, cited with Arabic numerals, given brief titles with only the first character capitalized, and figures must include legend explanations for abbreviations plus required source credits, staining method, and magnification where applicable.
