Original Research

Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must be structured and presented as a single paragraph.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 12,000 words. Manuscript should include the sections Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion, and the Introduction should be succinct with no subheadings. Manuscript must include at least five keywords, indicate the manuscript word count on the first page, and acknowledge any use of generative AI in the acknowledgements section and in the methods section if applicable with the name, version, model, and source.
References References must include all in-text citations, list the first six authors followed by et al., abbreviate given names to initials, provide the DOI when available, and include only works that are published or accepted with 'in press' used for accepted unpublished works.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted individually with captions placed at the end of the manuscript, while tables must be inserted at the end of the manuscript in editable format. Figures must each be mentioned in the text and use labeled panels for multi-panel images, and tables must each be mentioned in the text and not be submitted as figures.
