Neurobiology of Pain

Neurobiology of Pain is an international journal for the publication of basic and translational research on the mechanisms of acute and chronic pain. It focuses on experimental studies of pain mechanisms from molecular and cellular levels to brain imaging and behaviour, and primarily publishes original basic and translational studies while also considering clinical studies that address mechanistic aspects of pain using experimental approaches in human subjects. The journal publishes original research, full and mini-reviews, brief reports, commentaries, special issues, and may consider negative or null data papers and replication studies important to the field of acute and chronic pain.

Manuscript Manuscript should be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering and acknowledgements placed in a separate section before the references.
