The journal covers interactions between microorganisms and the host organism, including pathogenic bacteria, fungi and parasites, mechanisms of pathogenicity, host protection from infection, immunity, experimental infectious disease models, and vaccine development, and publishes articles, reviews, lectures, short communications, and case studies.
