Abstract Provide an unstructured abstract written in English that does not exceed 250 words, is factual and concise, and does not use abbreviations or acronyms.
Manuscript Manuscripts must be organized into an anonymized title page, abstract and keywords page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Supplementary Material, References, tables, and figure legends, with all author- and institution-identifying details removed from the main text.

Case Report

Cover Letter Cover letter must disclose any use of artificial intelligence tools in the work and provide details and copies of related or similar works (preprints, dissertations, manuscripts, published papers, and reports) and explain how the submitted manuscript differs from them.
Abstract Case Reports must not include an abstract.
Manuscript Case Reports must not exceed 2,000 words, excluding references, figures, and tables.
References Unpublished data and personal communications should be cited in parentheses in the text and not included in the reference list. Case Reports must not exceed 25 references.
Figures & Tables Artwork files must be TIFF, EPS, MS Office, or high-resolution PDF; line art requires ≥1200 dpi, halftone images ≥300 dpi, and images with text ≥600 dpi or postscript format. Case Reports must not include more than a total of 3 figures or tables.

Letter to the Editor

Abstract Editorials and Letters to the Editor do not require abstracts.
Manuscript Letters to the Editor must not exceed 300 words and do not require an abstract; for anonymized peer review, include a separate anonymized title page and a separate full title page file with author and conflict-of-interest details.
References Letters to the Editor may include up to 6 references, formatted in AMA style and listed double-spaced in order of appearance in the text, with journal names abbreviated per Index Medicus and more than 7 authors shortened to the first 3 followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Letters to the Editor must not include figures or tables.
