Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include a structured abstract. The structured abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Original Articles should not exceed 5,000 words, excluding the structured abstract, brief summary, references, tables, and figures. Original Articles must include a brief summary of no more than 120 words with two sentences for Current Knowledge/Study Rationale and two sentences for Study Impact, 4 to 6 keywords, required declarations under a “Statements and Declarations” or “Declarations” heading, disclosure of any LLM use in the Methods or another suitable section, and a disclosure statement.
References Original Articles should include no more than 50 references. References must be cited in the text with numbers in square brackets and listed consecutively in numbered order, including only cited published or accepted works and full DOI links when available.
Figures & Tables Original Articles should include no more than 8 tables and figures in total. Figures should not be included in the main manuscript and must be uploaded separately, with figure legends listed after the references section in the manuscript file.
