The journal publishes clinical and research studies on neuromuscular disorders and treatment options across fields including electrophysiology, electrodiagnosis, anatomy, biochemistry, cell biology, epidemiology, genetics, immunology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, toxicology, and virology.

Clinical Research Articles

Abstract Abstract is required and must be 250 words. Abstract must be 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Introduction/Aims, Methods, Results, and Discussion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4000 words. Manuscript text must be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Include 5 key words on the abstract page, and an optional graphical abstract may be submitted with an accompanying 80-word summary of the key findings.
References References must be numbered in order of citation and cited in the text, tables, and legends as superscript Arabic numerals, listing all author names with “et al” after the third author.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 8 figures or tables is permitted, and any additional figures or tables must be submitted as online supplementary material. Tables and figure legends must appear at the end of the manuscript, tables must not be embedded in the manuscript, and figures must be supplied as separate files. Tables must include a title at the top, and figure legends must be 200 words or fewer and numbered with Arabic numerals corresponding to the illustrations.
