Neurologic Clinics is a quarterly journal targeted toward neurologists and related fields that offers a broad view of current practice and the evidence supporting it. Each issue focuses on a single neurology-related topic such as multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, headache, sleep disorders, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, and pediatric-specific neurology.

Submission Instructions

Neurologic Clinics is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A one-paragraph synopsis is required on the title page. Synopsis must be 100 words or fewer. Synopsis must be unstructured as a single paragraph.
Manuscript Review Articles should typically be 4000–6000 words in length, including the title page, key points, text, references, and figure legends but excluding tables, boxes, and figures. Review Articles must follow the specific template provided in the welcome email. Manuscript must include 3–8 keywords, 3–5 key points, and a disclosure of AI and AI-assisted technologies used in the writing process.
References References must use AMA style with numerical citations in the text. References must be ordered numerically within the text.
Figures & Tables Each figure must be submitted as a separate file in the Figures tab in EMSS and must not be embedded in an MS Word document. Figures, tables, and boxes must be numbered consecutively and mentioned in the text, each figure must include a legend, each table and box must include a title, and multipart figures must label each part with uppercase letters.
